As the impacts of non-renewable energy sources become more and more prevalent, and the impacts of climate change are being seen on a daily basis, people searching for sustainable alternatives. As such, the world looks to leading institutions such as McGill University for answers and outside the box thinking. Our project aims to explore the feasibility of designing and installing kinetic tiles in a high foot-traffic area of McGill, to provide green energy, help McGill reach sustainability goals, and set a social standard for how McGillians can interact with the issues around them.
