Football's Social Justice Footprint:

The NFL provides many fans with a fun escape from reality, but its not all picture perfect? There is a lot going on behind the scenes of this business.
Authors Note: I have been a lifelong fan of the NFL. Through learning about justice issues I became aware of how they were failing players, fans, and people living in their host cities. While I have love for the sport and the league they should be held accountable for their actions.
This case will take you on a journey into the dark side of the National Football League. Many Americans count themselves fans of football and don't consider that there may be a harmful side to the sport. The NFL is made of 32 teams all with their own unique styles and fan bases. If you don't live near a stadium its hard to imagine them causing environmental justice issues. This case will evaluate how NFL stadiums have led to air pollution, noise pollution, and gentrification. It will also examine how the NFL has responded to recent social justice movements and look at who the NFL is really for. Is it about the fans or making money?
