This study investigates the commercial prospects of hydrogen fuel cell buses in Irvine, California, recognizing hydrogen energy as a promising clean energy source for the public transportation sector, especially buses. We will evaluate the feasibility of these vehicles by examining various aspects, such as capital costs, greenhouse gas emissions, hydrogen storage, pollutant emissions, state and city policies and regulations, and refueling station infrastructure, to determine the viability of implementing hydrogen fuel cell buses in the region.
